So I'm working on building a device that will trigger something with each revolution of a wheel. Originally I was thinking each rotation would cause the trigger, but now I am wondering if I should calculate the RPM and average it.
I'm not great at math, so you know, it'll take more work, but it should be doable.
I guess I would use one function to determine how frequently a spot on the wheel passes a certain point, then use the result as one input to trigger the output.

@davepolaschek Ah, interesting... I do not have a cadence sensor, but do I just move the magnet/reed switch to the pedal/crank for that?
I kind of want it on the wheel though, because it should reflect speed of the bike, and if you coast you are still moving and should still play sound.
It also allows for easy demo when it's on a stand where you can just spin the wheel.
