As someone wrote in a post AI is 90%hype and 10% useful. We have human intelligence. Using AI to compose a letter or write a book is sheer laziness and turning us into zombies. Apart from specialist data mining purposes AI serves little purpose.

En algemeen, helpt een smartwatch je gezondheid vooruit? Ik zoek vooral ervaringen van mede-autisten, en vooral rondom Garmin smartwatches. Maar andere ervaringen zijn ook zeer welkom.
Mijn Garmin laad ik per jaar 12x op, dus kan ik 'm 's nachts omhouden. Grappig om je slaapdata te zien. Maar mijn ega is er geen fan van dat ik 'm 's nachts draag. Je mist alleen je slaapdata dan.
Overigens, denk ook eens na of je al je data (medische gegevens, locatiegegevens, berichten) wil delen met een Amerikaanse server van Garmin. Ik gebruik @gadgetbridge waardoor alles lokaal op mijn smartphone blijft.
Werkt alle functionaliteit van het horloge zelf verder wel als je Gadgetbridge gebruikt? Minus uiteraard de dingen die internet vereisen. Maar ik bedoel meer alle scores, timers, metingen enzo, voorzover die niet al zichtbaar zijn in Gadgetbridge, zijn ze wel zichtbaar op het horloge zelf?
Ja, alle functionaliteit lokaal op het horloge blijft uiteraard gewoon werken. Verder worden door Gadgetbridge ook al veel extra functies ondersteund, zoals weerberichtsynchronisatie, meldingen van de telefoon naar het horloge sturen en GPS-koppeling (verschilt per type Garmin).
@gadgetbridge Ik heb, zodra Gadgetbridge beschikbaar kwam voor Garmin devices, een Garmin Instinct aangeschaft (als upgrade van de PineTime) en ik ben er zeer content mee. Notificaties, weer en muziekbediening: koppelingen met de smartphone werken uitstekend.
Ik heb nooit de Garmin apps gebruikt, maar voor zover ik het kan overzien 'mis' je Garmin Pay en de Garmin LiveApp track feature. Beide zou ik om privacy redenen al sowieso niet willen gebruiken.

We will also be seeing the nephew who got married last summer, & who has already walked out on his new wife to have an affair with someone he met at his job. We don't know what we will say to him - all our sympathies are with his poor wife. She is a lovely young woman and doesn't deserve this.

And yet - in so many other ways we couldn’t think of a nicer, kinder young man. It’s confusing…. They must have spent many thousands on their big flashy wedding , & are now saddled with the debt & no marriage to show for it. And it will take his poor wife a long time before she can trust anyone again.
