The Russians have run out of steam. They were trying to create a pincher around Pokrovsk in the Donetsk Oblast, but now Ukraine is pushing the left side back.

We are seeing similar development near Toretsk to the north east of Pokrovsk, and this makes me wonder, if Putin has drained too much resources from this area to reinforce Kursk, or if this is caused by the long-term effects of Russia's plethora of logistics problems and high losses.

Something is afoot.

Thanks to @breakintoprogram.co.uk I have managed to fix up the code on the ISA Z80 motherboard with quite a nice set of functions to get serial working. I still have to get character Rx working, but then I'm headed straight for BASIC!
a really simple assembler program that successfully prints hello world to the serial port.

In response to growing threats from Musk, the government, and counter-protesters, people are encouraged to stay safe, be peaceful and respectful, and follow law enforcement directives.
