Pepper spray on your shit? When you get home strip that down and drop it straight into the wash. Scrub you and anything you didn’t put into the wash with detergent. If your eyes have it, gently run clean cold water over them for a while.
Pepper spray comes in a few forms. Bear spray is often oil. It offgases for hours (days IMHO). Gotta use detergents to get it out of stuff, or flush it for a long time with water. Pepper balls are often pepper dust, so rinsing and brushing can help.

If you're feeling cautious, test it on an inconspicuous spot first and see how it goes - or if the care label allows for it, do a warm or hot wash and use a good-quality laundry detergent/powder.
And then run cleaner through your washing machine after just in case to make sure any lingering traces are fully removed.
For removing any stains (my understanding is that some pepper sprays contain pigment/dye) - if the garment is white and the care label allows for it, *after* decontaminating you can try a bleach pen or similar. If it's not white or not a fabric you can bleach, try a bleach-free stain remover (Sard Wonder Soap in the bar form is brilliant for a lot of serious stains).
For shoes, I don't know if all shoe cleaners will definitely remove that kind of stuff... you can use leather soap or saddle soap on leather shoes, but I'm not sure how that would g
