Maybe, more Realism (did not take art...). But it could easily be a painting in a museum, LOL.

When landing on the Moon, the astronauts watched an instrument called the FDAI that showed the spacecraft's orientation. The ball inside the Flight Director/Attitude Indicator rotated in three axes as the Lunar Module rotated. Let's look inside and see how it works. 1/N

in reply to Ken Shirriff

Removing the hollow hemispheres from the ball shows the complicated mechanism inside the ball, including the pitch and yaw motors. The pitch motor causes the entire mechanism to rotate, while the yaw motor spins the hemispheres.

I bought and assembled this Rosco M68k keyboard a while back. It sends ASCII over serial, so I figured I’d try it with #rc2014. As expected it works fine 😀

U.S and Mexico Soldiers on the Arizona Border, 1915 ~ Vintage Everyday

The USA and Mexico “border” in the year 1915 was only a mear line that divided both countries. This specific divide was between Arizona and Sonora Mexico during “The Battle of Nogales” and also during the Mexican Revolutionary War.

During this time, the border line was widely open and easy to cross. People frequently crossed for work, trade and family visits without passports or visas.

Was chatting with a play partner online. They asked me why it was I never use the video function of the apps. Easy! It brings the challenges of interpreting facial expressions and eye contact without any of the other benefits of actually meeting someone. For some neurodifferent people this makes video chatting kind of a downer.

I have to use video chat for work and it's exhausting for me. I take every opportunity I can to not have my camera on when I'm meeting with people.

I won't game with others with the exception of my partner very occasionally. My games are my escape from having to constantly interpret the world and I've never understood the desire to add a social component to that. Video would be its own special hell on top of all that.

Hey folks, been absent for a while. It's good tho, I'm living life and have a lot of high-quality things going on.

But want to offer that if you build one of these handheld projectors this summer I will assist you (it is my tutorial after all).

The hardest parts are getting the correct type of flashlight, sourcing the lens and cutting a stencil.

Lasercut stencils are best, and if you build one of these I'll mail you a few (within reason).
