Fantastic turnout today No Kings March, Palm Beach Gardens. Probably 2000 people or so both sides of busy highway, very inspiring in the brutal 32.5C heat/high RH. @Frenezul0_o @rodrigo_silva Civil war happens when there's clear geographic separation of subpopulations. Right now, it's all mixed together, with the biggest pattern being urban vs rural. I think fascists vs rebels is a more likely outcome.

You have to keep in mind that "paradise" means completely different things to different people. While we saw a country that was growing and becoming more diverse, and that this was a GOOD thing--that we were learning from past mistakes and improving--they saw the continued death and destruction of the world they loved.

I think it was at least 3-4 reporters who were attacked by the police in LA. There was one for the Guardian who had emergency surgery and one for an Australian outlet who was shot on camera for sure, but I recall reading about a few others.
And when I got home from my quick shop, Rufus made it clear he was a neglected and starving cat. So I smoochied him. I'm sure he appreciated it, even if his face says otherwise.
