Awfully quiet at the Xitter site, hardly any tweets on trump's vanity parade, which started 30 minutes early at 6:00 EDT to avoid the rain.
No one seems to be crowing about crowd size or posting images.
We wonder why 😉
These images are from a CSPAN video, with a very small crowd along the parade route. What a waste of taxpayer money.

There were giant advertisements for several sponsors.
Good No Kings turnout in Berkeley! It was on and around the wide pedestrian walkway over I-80, with lots of signs and banners. I'm bad at guessing crowd sizes, but it was easily thousands, and loud. There was a continuous medley of supportive honking from cars and 18-wheelers on the freeway (I have a short video but am having trouble posting it). This photo is only of the ramp up to the crossover, which was even more packed. I saw only a few police, and they were laughing and friendly and kept their distance.

This turnout, despite the assassination of a Minesota Democratic legislator and her husband last night, and then attempted assassination of a second Minnesota Democratic legislator and his wife last night.
Gutsy.
Especially since Indivisible officially "cancelled" their events and the Governor recommended people not attend No Kings events because the assassin was still at large.

Oops, sorry, that is in St.Paul, Minnesota. The No Kings protesters were told not to come in wake of the assassination of Minnesota State Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark. But they came anyways to show their support and to offer their condolences.
Empathy, camaraderie, joy - these are things entirely foreign to the average MAGA supporter.
