I could see No Tail, Little Guy, and Brown Face plus a new guy with a distinctive light gray stripe down his tail. Many small finches and nut hatches. A good way to start the day.
It will be another hot and humid day for us in VA, and it looks NC is not going to be much better. Will be watching things in the Pacific as Hurricane Iona, TS Kelli and three potential siblings are all growing at approximately the same time. It looks like they’ll all slide by Hawaii, but fingers crossed. The Atlantic is still very quiet (too quiet). Also watching fires on the West Coast, and hoping nothing will light off in VA or NC.

Re the lithium-ion bit, intriguing how the scope of total non-renewable resources consumed over what time scales never seems to factor into considerations of relative ‘cost’.
Nature seems good at balancing resilience and efficiency. It would be good if journalism weren’t quite so obsessed with the latter

(a) Their pressure might continue to leak off and decline
(b) They might get briny formation water back, which will dump a load of salt in their heat exchangers/turbines.
In any case, approach with caution.
