Why do homosexual women have all these fun words like lesbian and sapphic, and yet those of us with expansive attractions are still just bisexuals and pansexuals?
I submit to this queer corner of the fediverse that we should come up with a fun alternative term for those who are attracted to multiple genders or regardless of gender!
Ugh, friends, I’m trying to inspire some fun here. Yes, a bi person can call themselves sapphic and I am one of them. I don’t need a bunch of people informing me of this.
I meant people who are bisexual and pansexual regardless of their own gender identity and regardless of the identities they are attracted to.
The same observation applies to how homosexual men are also generally called gay. I’m wanting fun alternative terms that don’t sound like someone is diagnosing a person with their orientation.
Ech, yeah. That's why I said "sexer". Because really, for us, it's not about the characteristics of the who as much as the enjoyment of the sex by all engaged. We don't worry about the gender or body of the person, we just do the sex anyway. Sexers. 😁
Not every discussion about identities has to be a big heavy one, folks. Sometimes we can just have some fun too.
