14. Not sure about the verified metaphor either. Maybe it refers to the fact that Derridian philosophy is one of the main sources of the so-called "postmodern philosophy" (more precisely, cultural studies, gender studies, etc), which has been quite influential since the 80-90s.
15. As I said, Heidegger was a Nazi, so... yeah, he was sort of canceled. But more or less as it happened to Hegel, there is a "Heideggerian Left" in philosophy.
16. Wittgenstein's first theory of meaning is that language depicts (represents) the world, so it is usually called "picture theory of language".
