@inthehands I wouldn't assume that Venezuela's Interior Ministry reporting on this topic is any more credible than Musk, say, reporting on fraud in the Social Security Administration.

@marick If only there were some kind of process where some kind of judge could hear and evaluate evidence and allow the parties to present their cases in order to determine the truth of the matter.

@inthehands I'm just saying that, so far as I know from two people connected to Venezuela, you'll do yourself damage with the Venezuelan diaspora if you treat the Venezuelan government as credible. As well as with the whole spectrum, left to right, who see it as an authoritarian, corrupt government.

I don't see the upside of treating Cabello's statement as a slam dunk that pwns Trump. And lots of downside.
