⚠️ Heads up - there's a #Mastodon #scam bot doing the rounds. Mastodon does not "temporarily restrict your visibility", if you see a DM or post to that affect begging you to click a link to restore anything, do not click it - report it instead.

The scammer usually uses multiple handles and URLs and identities, so general warnings about this type of scam tend to be more effective.

@Fedi.Tips Yes but it has a source, that I can find how good he is to hide does not matter time does. In mean time you are right to alert people.
I think a good guide of browsing hygiene would be good in place here with a quiz on how to see if it's a scammer etc as you said a Admin wont ask you to give sensible info.
