Terms of Service

If for any reason you cannot comply with the Terms Of Service or Rules of this Instance then you may not use this service. Rogue Project's Friendica reserves the right to change and/ or amend the TOS (Terms Of Service) and Rules at any time. It is your responsibility to stay current with posted changes.

This is a small Instance and we are focused on Community and not advertising. I do not allow marketing accounts. With that said you can promote your art and your friend's and family's art so long as this does not promote a corporate entity. I am okay with supporting you local mom & pop's businesses. As long as the primary use of your account is not specifically for marketing you should be fine. Your account will not be deleted for merely mentioning a business. Contact the Admin, Unus Nemo, if you have questions.

You must be polite and respectful of other users on this Instance and those that we federate with at all time. You may not respond to rudeness by being rude. Use the Ignore feature if another user is being a nuisance. If they are spreading hate speech let the Admin know as soon as possible. Do not use this Instance as a platform to be hateful or rude. If you have a disagreement discuss it in a civil manor or use the ignore feature. Being hateful or rude can lead to your account being deleted.

Be mindful that what you share on an international network will never truly be private. See the Privacy Statement for more information.

I do not allow bot accounts without approval, if you want to use a bot on your login you must first contact the Admin to get approval.

Accounts over 60 days old with no use will be deleted, this is your only warning. If you need to take a sabbatical from social media let the Admin know so your account can be preserved.

Rules

  1. Must be polite at all times.
  2. No Marketing except as mentioned in the TOS (Terms Of Services).
  3. No bot accounts without permission.
  4. Accounts abandoned for 60 days may be deleted without further notice.
  5. You are responsible for your privacy. Share your information with caution.

Privacy Statement

At the time of registration, and for providing communications between the user account and their contacts, the user has to provide a display name (pen name), an username (nickname) and a working email address. The names will be accessible on the profile page of the account by any visitor of the page, even if other profile details are not displayed. The email address will only be used to send the user notifications about interactions, but wont be visibly displayed. The listing of an account in the node's user directory or the global user directory is optional and can be controlled in the user settings, it is not necessary for communication.

This information is required for communication and is passed on to the nodes of the communication partners and stored there. Users can enter additional personal information that may be transmitted to the communication partner's accounts.

At any point in time a logged in user can export their account data from the account settings. If the user wants to delete their account they can do so at https://friendica.rogueproject.org/settings/removeme. The deletion of the account will be permanent. Deletion of the data will also be requested from the nodes of the communication partners.
