That's a really good question! I've had a look at the PeerTube documentation and searched the Github but I'm not 100% sure.

There's a synchronisation option which is just labelled "Remote channel URL" and as examples it gives YouTube, Vimeo, DailyMotion (docs.joinpeertube.org/use/chan…). I'm not sure what happens if you try to sync an RSS feed with this, guessing it wouldn't work but could try?

I'll ask around about this and do a post if it's possible.

@FediTips @cobrate This is great! Then we should just be able to sync it to our YouTube channel which automatically turns our RSS podcast feed into a video series. Potentially we could get 3 feeds for our 3 different podcasts. Can you recommend a good instance for us to join? Like is there a primary Left-wing, or History instance?
in reply to Working Class History

A reply from the lead developer of PeerTube, they think it would work:

framacolibri.org/t/syncing-wit…

About instances, I don't know of a specifically left-wing or history based one, but I'm sure they exist. You might want to browse PeerTube's instance finder at joinpeertube.org/instances?pro…

I do also have a (very) short list of well-run instances that have signups open at fedi.tips/how-to-publish-video… if you're unsure about the ones on the official finder.

@FediTips @Moonrider_acme Yes, thanks, we are already on mastodon.social, we are looking for an appropriate peertube instance
