Is there a way in #Linux to mount a DOS disk that was compressed with DoubleSpace? The 40MB hard drive that was in my Toshiba T5200 was compressed that way and I was able to ddrescue it back in November, but all I found on the DOS partition was a great big 39.9MB file called DBLSPACE.000.

Hey, does the Mastodon Ham Radio braintrust have a recommendation for a good introductory guide for operating on FT8? I have a radio and laptop set up for it for the first time, and now need to understand how to use FT8 and operate. I know just a basic overview about how it all works, but have zero experiencing getting on the air with it.
Any suggestions on a good guide would be most welcome. Preferably in old-fashioned text and images and not YouTube, because YouTubers. 😁

I have read through some JS8 criticism now. The numbers game of a little-used mode with no active project development doesn't sound good. Had not looked at Olivia et al yet, so that looks cool! Just interested in the ability to do more than the minimum exchange.

Besides, getting measles isn't the worst thing that can happen to a child. Only 1 to 3 in 1,000 die of measles. And those who die must not have been meant to live; they lacked natural strength and were not fed and exercised properly.
For children who survive measles, the worst that can happen is that they go blind — but at least, they'll have their lives, even if they can no longer see.
