@fredy's Italian postal bike had a problem where one of the bearing cups wouldn't thread in all the way because it was the wine thread pitch and some previous owner had forced it in until it cut new threads -- to a point.
The only solution i could come up with was to remove enough threads so that it could thread in without bottoming out on the threads that hadn't been recut further down in the bottom bracket.
We did this on the lathe, partially with cutting and partially with grinding.
In the next few months, from its perch atop a mountain in Chile, the Vera C. Rubin Observatory will begin surveying the #cosmos with the largest camera ever built.
Every three nights, it will produce a map of the entire southern sky filled with #stars, #galaxies, #asteroids and @supernovae — and swarms of bright #satellites ruining some of the view.

The problem with SUSE / openSUSE is for the past few years, they keep flip-flopping. I mean to say, there is no clear road map.
openSUSE, for example, has said they would discontinue Leap, then said they were going to keep it, then discontinue it, then keep it, then make it immutable, then changed their mind, then said they'd discontinue it, and now it is in development.
The more amusing things was when they said they were going to change their logo. openSUSE held a contest, picked a winner, gave out prizes, promoted their new logo, and then changed their mind.
The more concerning thing is openSUSE is doing the same thing with Yast. At one point, they were going to hand it (Yast) over to a 3rd party developer, who was working on making it a terminal only project. And they've expressed a desire to kill off KDE in openSUSE a few times now, claiming lack of individuals showing interest to help support it (even when people came forward to help support it).
