I re-listened to this episode and was unhappy with my room echo. (excuse: I was in a different spot from where I typically record)
But now I want to do more sound dampening in my office.
Does anyone have recommendations for those large panels that dampen echo that don't look super cheap?
treating a room to deaden it is not easy, at least without making it look like a recording studio. I hung a bunch of movers blankets around my recording space, which doesn’t exactly look pretty.
Alternatively, move the mic closer to keep the gain down, and maybe use one of those wraparound sound-absorbing shields around the back of the mic.
