SPHEREx is a mission that'll survey over 450 million galaxies to uncover the history of the universe and how it evolved. The PUNCH mission will study the outer atmosphere of the sun.
I am VERY EXCITED about SPHEREx and what it'll find about the period of cosmic inflation, a period when the universe grew by ~10³⁰ in size in a tiny fraction of a second!

Depends where we're going. If we're talking about The Voyageur, it's a key theme. If we're looking at something set in the Jovian Lunar Empire, it couldn't matter less.
In general, when nature does show up it tends to be aberrant from the actual condition. The bigger role nature plays in my stories is the role it plays in my creative process; the way the seasons govern my ratio of indoor to outdoor activity, the way the best ideas come to me directly from the sun, as filtered down through elm-leaves on my favourite trail down by the river.

Some good news about #Mastodon, there has been a very significant bit of code added which will automatically fetch all the replies in a thread. This means everyone will be able to see a thread's whole conversation no matter which server they are on! 🥳The code has just been "merged" which means it should become available in the next update to Mastodon, hopefully within the next few months.
