The spots are only because it is developing the first real feathers.
Starlings are a rare sight, where I live. I am on the east coast of Jutland. We do see many starlings on the west coast, though.
In these times, sometimes I just want to be a bird. Whenever life is so hard to bear, just open my wings and fly away. Just feel the cool wind beneath me and get away quickly. Oh, heart be free and fly away, because you have to endure too much at times like these.
