Denmark is a member of EU they are not only covered by NATO Art.5, but also by EUV Art.42(7) from 2007.
While the NATO contract interprets an attack on one as attack on all (which has to be declared unanimously(!)), and each member should _consider_ a response and its extent, the EU contract _obliges_ all EU members to support with all means available.
*But* Greenland became an autonomous nation within DK and exited EU 1985 (still has association contract).
