I would find a home for those in a nearby bin, methinks. Or pack them up as Christmas gifts. As a last resort, I would ask Mrs A if she needs to fatten up for the winter.

We still have a few small candy bars that have been hidden away for a year.

A year? They need to mature for far longer than than to reach their finest piquancy.

The best thing to do is not buy too much candy or none at all! We don't get any trick or treaters where I live so no need to buy candy.

My sister has a large bowl of fun size bars and got no trick or treaters this year. I’m afraid to go to her house.
