Yes, their religious voodoo is mixed up in it.

When the antii-vaxxer’s children die of some preventable disease, I will have sympathy for the children…but not the parents. It’s child abuse.

I experienced this while I was teaching, a young man whose mother was a crazed anti-vaxxer…and then her golden boy son got sick.

I truly do not get the anti vaxxers. My girls were born before they developed some of the vaccines that are available. They had everything there was at the time & they were healthy children. There is too much misinformation available now that some people don't seem to understand, they just believe it if they read it. One of my fellow neighbors here tried to tell me some vaccines are not helpful. I told him I listen to my doctor. He had been doing research online.

Doctors are not thrilled with patients who "did their research online". A very small minority actually have research skills and can present useful findings to the doctor. The rest are likely going to make unhelpful suggestions or worse still argue nonsense with the doctor.

My doctor will discuss things I read online, but I try to use reputable sources like The Mayo Clinic, John Hopkins, etc.

@David, I've not heard of that. If someone has an abortion it is no one else's business. It is a personal decision between a woman & her doctor. The rest need to stay out of our health decisions. I could understand a funeral for a miscarried fetus as that is a sad ending to a pregnancy.
