Known affectionately as 'Matsu-no-dera' (松の寺 the 'Temple of the Pine'), Yoshimine-dera (善峯寺) is the 20th of 33 temples on the famed Saigoku Kannon Pilgrimage (西国三十三所).
It is a famous spot for enjoying hydrangea in early summer, and the fall colours.
