The #Fediverse tracks you less than Facebook and is still free, so what are you complaining about?

Yes, this medium is compliant with this ideology.
1) You share only what you choose to and nothing else. At most an Instance will require an e-mail to verify you though that e-mail does not need to tie you to an actually identity.
2) There is no centralized control structure. Every Instance on the Fediverse is controlled only by their administrator(s).
3) Algorithm on the Fediverse (and yes they exist as that is a natural part of software development and not something evil) are geared toward showing you more of what you interact with. You choose what gets prioritized by what you ignore or respond to. Not by an algorithm designed to show you promoted content that the centralized structure wants you to see.
I cannot tell you that there is no tracking on the Fediverse, because no one person or agency controls the content of the Fediverse. There are tracking bots that point out tracking urls on a regular basis but those bots are limited in scope to the parts of the Fediverse their Instance federates with. Though that tracking is not an internal feature of the Fediverse it is the link placed on the post.
I administrate a Friendica Instance and there is nothing I have seen thus far in the code base that indicates any type of tracking. Though I do not have time to audit the code base of ever possible type of Fediverse network server type. I am sure there are those that do. To that point one of the Fediverse's values has always been anonymity if you choose it. You share only what you choose to share.
If you noted the GPS coordinates in my shares on other posts you might be lead to believe that is tracking. Well, not really, it tells you to coordinates of the Data Center that hosts my Virtual Private Server (VPS) not my location. This would be the same location that would be attributed to any user on my Instance. So the only information it shares is where my VPS is located not anything personal about anyone using the Instance. I could block this though the propagation of this information helps to fine tune the Fediverse so I see no compelling reason to do so.
