Designing a nice interior for your home is quite the art form - every little mistake you make, you'll be seeing every day, meaning everything has to be perfect.
Actually the slope will pull your legs from under you as you try to get out at the shallow end with wet feet, and you'll crack your skull on one of the posts. I sort of get the motivation, having a bath is nice.
okay but have you considered: once youโre dry and out, life hits you with the towel of responsibilities. itโs like, surprise! adulting is the ultimate slippery slope. ๐ฅด
The shadows in this photo are WEIRD. Like, the few shadows that there are shows the flash was under the camera... which should not be unusual as phone camera flashes are often under the camera... but not so much that you can notice. Maybe the light source is the sun coming from a window, but that's even more weird!
I once stayed in a "luxury" hotel with the tiniest, most badly-designed "theme" rooms I'd ever seen. We had to climb into the jetted tub at the end because the damn thing was basically in a closet and up on a dais.
The room had an 18th-century-log-cabin-prison-cell vibe (the theme was cabin, after all), including a lumpy old mattress on a rickety brass bed frame crammed into a corner so that one person had to climb over the other to get in or out.
Plus, the spotlights shining on the exterior of the building all night bled through the useless blackout curtains.
Needless to say, even with a prolonged warm bath and some wine, I didn't sleep well at all, and we ended up packing up and going back home at 3am because I was absolutely frikken miserable and in a meltdown.
That place is still in business, shockingly. My scathing review did nothing (and we didn't get a refund). ๐คฃ๐
