I am not trying to be facetious. But is Germany not affected by the UK law that just passed which makes it legal for their law enforcement to arbitrarily spy on any and every messaging system? It also made it against the law to try to prevent them from spying on messaging?
ICE, because they are considered part of Homeland Security, is given way to much authority to do what would be illegal for many other US Law Enforcement to do. This is because of an over zealous ACT we passed to protect us after 911. I believe it was called the Patriots ACT. They always name this legislation after something that sounds noble, even when it is the opposite.
