So Medvedev wants us to believe, that Putin, who has not been able to defeat Ukraine in 1252 days, will be able to fight the US in parallel to fighting Ukraine.
Russia has a population of 146 million, and they are not able to defeat Ukraine, a nation of 45 million (prewar). And they now want to attack the US, a nation of 340 million, allied with NATO, total population 958 million.

Medvedev has been the crazy one the entire war. It's not clear to me what the purpose is:
- To make Putin look comparatively sane.
- To show us that things will get much worse if we take Putin out in a precision strike.
- Or Medvedevs job is talking to the Russian people who are used to the bullshit, while Putin does the grown up talking.
(Though if it's the last one, he should probably stick to posting in Russian).
