I've joined a lot of protests in my home town of Melbourne over the last few decades. And I'm so glad I did.
Being surrounded by like minded souls helps you to feel grounded when so much else is spiralling into chaos. Being reminded you are not alone. Feeling some sense of validation that choosing to care for other people is a good path forward.
I never once believed those protests would change the government. But I knew they would change every one of us who turned up. For the better.

So it seems our two gooseberry bushes put out about about 5-6 kilos of fruit. I inefficiently picked 4. I’ll try better next season.
And the three red currant bushes produce about 7 kilos.
The raspberry bushes, maybe a kilo, or a bit more. Not really worth the space they take up, IMO.

@liquor_american Yeah, I think he's a shit too, and hated him as mayor, but when he turned around and said, "I don't care what the courts say or politicians say, gay people can get married in my city"..... well, I gotta say, that took a set of balls and it really made me forgive some of his previous smarmy political BS.

The Trojan Room coffee pot was a coffee machine located in the Computer Laboratory of the University of Cambridge, England. It was the subject of the world's first webcam, created by Quentin Stafford-Fraser and Paul Jardetzky in 1991.
It's funny really. The first webcam was invented just to keep an eye on whether the coffee was out or not without having to go in there to do it.
