As #Cloudflare fucks the Internet, I get a sense of deja vu from the days of the 486 Windows 98 machines when it was the now-defunct Yatoula that was doing basically the same thing back then, only Yatoula wasn't the only entity out there doing it--Xiti comes to mind. I bring up Yatoula in particular because although I'm not a hacker per se, I was bent on getting my revenge by entering their server's back door.
Having done that, I ripped a lot of their animated GIFs and no doubt somebody somewhere over there noticed the breach. I still retain those GIFs as a collective trophy, celebrating the fact that Yatoula doesn't exist anymore. I'm sure the individuals running that operation went elsewhere, but no more Yatoula.
Cloudflare, take note.
Via Facebook TIL #HamRadio operator W3ASK went SK. #RIP George Jacobs.
He worked with #VoA back in the day and I'm gonna start a conspiracy theory that he died of a broken heart because of what Kari Lake did to #VoiceOfAmerica .

Just when I thought of an actually useful task for Google's AI, things got complicated right off the bat.
First, I heard the news via DW that 190 countries recognized #Palestine as a state. Okay, so I don't need to click on any specific website to answer the question "how many countries are there?".
When #AIOverview popped right up it said 195, as recognized by the #UN, it also had a fine print disclaimer that it does make mistakes. Never saw THAT one before today. But lower on the page there was cited a website that claimed there were 248. Then Reddit said that there were at least 193 but as many as 206. Uhhhhhh....
It took another link on that page to sort all of this out so I guess I really did need to click on a link to a website after all: Wikipedia's page on "United Nations geoscheme" and got the info that the number 248 covered non-sovereign dependencies, while the number 193 covered nations that were UN members, to which one would add 2 observer nations: Vatican and Palestine.
Bottom line is that 190 of whatever the number now recognize the State of Palestine.
