I did have a few more squares to mark on my card, and I'm very tempted to check that Re-Used Corman Footage box but I confess I'm not at all familiar with all his works to make that call.

Closing credits were interesting so I guess I should remember the name of that producer too, huh. Les Baxter strikes again. So that's what a young Jack Nicholson looks like, but I see there's a James H. Nicholson in the executive mix. Well well well.

Puppies!!!
Not on my bingo card either. Goodness.
Auld Lang Syne followed by Loveliest Night of the Year. How quaint.
Well, if that was actually Lenore, I would have a 3-way bingo, but she's just an imposter.
Alas, I lost my internet connection for a few minutes so I'm behind. Gonna nevermind my bingo card and skip through a bit.
Technical question: the dead man whose hair the raven desired just groaned, indicating that he's not dead--so the hair doesn't count for that recipe?
Foley technician was off quite a bit with that raven at the chamber window...which wasn't a door, BTW.
Well, I was right, wasn't I?
Price chewed up the scenery right out of the gate. Him and his finger.
That's because Vincent Price ALWAYS chews the scenery. What surprises me is that Jack Nicholson is in this along with the usual horror-all-stars in it.

It's a Roger Corman film, and Nicholson's third time working with him after the director gave Nicholson his first movie role in 1958.

It's a case of someone coming up meeting people on their way down. It might be cruel to say so to their faces, but it is true: Peter Lorre and Boris Karloff starred in two or four of the most important film rôles ever—Lorre was also a lead in the first production of «Die Dreigroschenoper»—but time and addiction and changes in cinematic fashion….
Jack Nicholson at the time was trying to get anything he wrote made into a movie, not couch-surfing but close.
The inserted snide remark was along the lines that the person who portrayed Stereotypical Barbie should not have been cast in that role to make that particular point. Upon review I'm determined to get that statement on paper verbatim.

That makes me only 4 squares short of a blackout!
Thanks!!

in reply to Radio Free Trumpistan • • •The Raven got attacked three times on the way to Craven's castle/mansion/whatever by, uh... hawks, I think? It's not on screen but those are bird attacks talked about in dialogue as having happened. Up to you if you want to count it, but I'd say it's in bounds.

Fair point! Thanks! I could also look at that Madness square as in reference to anger, seems to me. Okay, down to just 3 short of a blackout.
Anybody notice any peepholes or monsters with new powers? Or metal bars?
