Kinda reminds me of Connecticut. Once you get a short distance north of New Haven, virtually every major byway converges upon Hartford. This way you never get lost, you see - as long as you are headed in the right general direction, pretty soon you will be in Hartford.

Except Rt 10. Rt 10 (College Highway) is very important, as it's one of the few roads N/S, and it skirts the city.
