I enjoy Pink Floyd and Metallica. I do not really care what either of their political views are. I make a point of not getting deeply involved in the personal life of my entertainers.
Perhaps I am wrong for that but hey, it works for me. Kevin Sorbo can be an absolutely disturbing person in his real life perspective that he shares in interviews. Though he is a brilliant actor and I love many movies he stars in. I could say the same about Clint Eastwood and Chuck Norris. If I was to get into the politics and ideologies of the artists I enjoy. I would probably stop watching, reading and listening to most of what I enjoy today.
Because I would never be able to enjoy most art if I knew more about the artists I make a point to not know them. I form my opinions on their abilities as performers not on their personal views. I know that a lot of people would strongly object to this. I really do not care as I do not require their approval to be happy with my choice.
