Sounds similar to "Freedom is Slavery" from Orwell's 1984.

@Peter Brett @Laffy I've long maintained that the GOP is pro post-birth abortion and that was just because of their sanctioned school shootings. This is another damn good reason.
This guy's insanity has been in public view for several years now. He is actually a doctor, a grad of Harvard Medical School, but he is as much of a lunatic as Kennedy Jr. Red flag after red flag appeared both before DeSantis appointed him and afterward. Not only a quack, he is a grifter too.
So in Florida it's going to be moral and compatible with individual freedom for the state to force pregnant women to have babies and then allow them to die from preventable diseases, because it's immoral and an affront to individual freedom for the state to compel parents to vaccinate their children?
@dshan of course, nobody is going to die from any preventable deceases in Florida. The Florida stats will show that people die from other things, like respiratory and/or neurological complications or fever… and “nobody” can for sure say what caused that.
Much like with COVID, only the sick ones died… and they were probably going to die at some point anyway, so COVID shouldn’t have been the cause….
It’s the same unfair reputation that falling off a building has gotten. Nobody dies from falling off a building. And now spring break could mean coming home with rather more than a mere STD.
I think that if I need to travel to S. America that I'll change flights in Mexico City rather than Miami.
