Your dad has taught you a very important lesson in critical thinking. The moment a person starts rebutting your points with ad hominem attacks bow out gracefully. This person has not desire to learn or argue reasonably. They just want to shove their ideas down your throat and you are not to question. It is one thing to use colorful adjective such as conservitard or libtard in a statement or joke. It is entirely different when one uses it as a rebuttal to a point in discussion. Typically such usage in either case will leave your more educated audience considering your content to be inferior. One should be able to discuss, argue or discourse any topic without resorting to insult. If one is educated in that topic.

Well D's control almost every major U.S. city. There are almost none that R's have a mayor.
As a 'Murican living abroad since 2008, I just hope DC stalemates itself, and the Wig gets impeached, and his cronies get imprisoned.
You would probably have it better in your individual states if the Federal government had the two uni-Party gangs fighting themselves.

chiner is a walking disaster I don't know if it's much of anything, really. She can claim to be anything but it means nothing to anyone. Use to live there. Bleh. Feel sad for the people who live in the various provinces there as their cultural assets+values will never be able to be developed properly.
Was just looking at this- (a) chiner overfished her seas (claimed 95% depletion) and so if (b) the locals don't wanna have to start eating nuts+berries they gotta work things out to rape the oceans further out. Kinda understandable, in a twisted sort of manner.

A Republic is any country ruled by the people by any political ideology that does not involve a king, dictator or monarchy period. It is not very descriptive. It could be a Communist Republic, Socialist Republic, Democratic Republic etc. The fact is that just referring to a country as a Republic only states two points, it does not have a king or dictator. It is not very revealing at all. If we were to discuss the political ideology embraced by America then it would have to be far more informative than merely labeling it a Republic or Democracy. It has elements of both and is a Democratic Republic. Though Republicans love the word Republic because they literally used it in their name and Democrats like Democracy for the same reason. And their propaganda tends to lean into the label that emphasizes their brand. It is more about marketing than political theory. But, many will continue to follow their parties propaganda and abandon political science all together.
