Here's a treat for all you folks who could remember as far back as "Hennesy".
The main character of "The Adventures of Tugboat Annie" evoked a lot of "well I never!" reactions being a nonstereotypical woman. Yes, it was spun off a film. Well, Never Have You Ever realized that there was a Captain Bullwinkle before there was moose and squirrel, huh.

Previously, I tooted a tribute to #Canada but neglected to add THIS reason for thanking Canada for being Canada. It just didn't come to my mind until just right now that I enjoyed watching this, as well as admiring the character besides. "The Adventures of Tugboat Annie" as a Canadian production showing on U.S. TV sure explains a lot of background on Bullwinkle the Moose and Frostbite Falls. Again, I salute you, and add Red Green while I'm at it. Quando omni flunkus moritati.
