This is the best description of Threads
I have ever read:
"Threads is what would happen if Twitter and Instagram made out in a bowling alley." π
Such an amazing and very funny article by @freddy
I don't know how I missed it at the time, but it's still very relevant to share with anyone you want to convince never to join Threads.
Very much worth a read for everyone else as well: privacyguides.org/articles/202β¦

I was all of 15 maybe 20 minutes on Threads before I deleted my account. It was the worst most confusing social media I have ever experienced.

For a platform that has zero cost of adoption (you have Instagram? Congratulations, you have Threads), it's incredible how they managed to make something that nobody would actually want to use.

I was not on it that long π. The first thing that happened was that thousand internet call girls followed me and bombarded me with messages to follow them. Which I did not.
The interface was confusing and made no sense to me at all. I have been using Social Media since it comprised of Usenet and the IRC. I have a masters in Computer Science so I am not exactly Naive to how social media works and in my opinion Threads just did not.
