@Donna McClure It's a growing new chain dedicated to what the dimestore used to be, supplanted by the dollar store, and now $5 is worth a dime because Five Below supposedly sells things under 5 dollars. Yeah, that didn't last long either.
Thanks @Radio Free Trumpistan. We do have Dollar stores in the area but I rarely shop there. The one in town where I am has had, in the past, long lines, one checker with people lined up with multiple items! Standing in line to spend a dollar on something is not my idea of fun!!
@Donna McClure They've basically become PoS vendors selling you for a dollar what they go for pennies. Dollar General excepted, I must say, as well as Five Below. Beware a shit-vendor called Ollies, though. The sweat shop slave labor industry is doing well, clearly.
I came home from Five Below with three 3' skeletons this afternoon. Unfortunately, I think they are a little too large to ride the flamingoes. I also got my Covid shot at the pharmacy while I was out (that was the main reason for going out of the house).
