I think this kind of lazy, inconsequential reporting has gotten airplay all the way back to the beginning of mass media, but it's just that it feels way more out of place in 2026
@John Regehr @your auntifa liza π΅π· π¦ 𦦠Of course, since paying journos to do in-depth stuff has put a lot of newspapers out of business. Putting in the time costs extra $, and people don't read all the way through an article anyway...which is exactly why we have entities like Buzzfeed.
