We're rural and Penny just went to the nearest store to pick up a few staple items that she gets all the time. Around these parts, Dollar General fills the store desert. A couple years ago, it would have been around $40. It's pushing $75 today. She didn't add anything, or increase quantity, from the normal that would have increased the cost this much.
