I would never eat that many carbs, it would make me diabetic. Society in general has been taught to eat way to many carbs. It is not for health it is for profit. Big Business makes huge profit on food like products they make from cheap carbs.
There is no reason to avoid butter (real dairy butter) though you should avoid margarine a plant based substitute basically made of seed oils. All seed oils should be avoided, they are toxic. Though butter (dairy) is actually a very good fat that you should enjoy.
I do more like 3/4 plate of meat and fat and 1/4 plate of low carb non-starchy vegetables. I stay away from all seed oils. I only use lard (the rendered fat from when I cook my bacon), Single Origin Cold Pressed Olive Oil and Naturally Refined Avocado Oil and of course real dairy butter.
I avoid any low fat product, as they will always be higher carb. Coffee is a great and healthy drink and it is a staple for me. My beverages are b

I avoid any low fat product, as they will always be higher carb. Coffee is a great and healthy drink and it is a staple for me. My beverages are basically coffee, almond milk, and water. I do not drink almond milk because I have an issue with whole milk. I drink it because I love almond milk. Whole milk is also a great choice. Just stay away from low fat or skim milks, they are loaded with carbs.
I have lost around 45 lbs (20.4 kilo) to 50 lbs (22.7 kilo) in around 4 months. Though the really amazing thing is that my chronic pain in my right knee has disappeared completely. I breath a lot better. I also feel great.
Seed oils are truly horrible. Though there are some cold pressed ones that are suitable for consumption they are typically out of my price range. Most seed oils are not cold pressed and the chemical process used to extract the oil make the oil rancid and then it has to be deodorized. Canola and any thing labeled Vegetable Oil should be avoided completely. Seed oils cause the membrane of your cells to harden and will not let junk out or nutrition in. This causes deformed sick cells (cancer). Do not touch any food that has been kicked in or with these oils most other seed oils fall in the same category.
Recipe for my favorite Chia Pudding
2 cups unsweetened almond milk with vanilla ( or whole milk if you prefer dairy)
1 tsp of vanilla if you are using whole dairy milk or regular unsweetened almond milk.
1/3 cup Chia Seed
2 tbs Flax Seed
4 tsp Moringa Leaf
1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper (optional (to taste))
2 tsp Ceylon Cinnamon
4 tsp Stevia
Mix all ingredient well in a bowl, put a lid on it and refrigerate overnight.
This pudding is a great source of fiber and a ton of other nutrients including Omega 3 fats and protein and many essential minerals.

Fish is okay if you cannot afford red meats, but red meats are far better for you. The issue with fish these days is that most major water sources (at least here in the USA) are polluted to some level. It is hard to source fish that is not high in heavy metals such as mercury. Pork and Poultry is fine too but they are fed a poor diet which produces more Omega 6 fat (which is not good) instead of healthy Omega 3 fats. Beef and lamb are better because they are typically grass fed and out in a pasture which produces meat which is high in Omega 3 fats v Omega 6.
A lot of the horrible information that we were raised on regarding red meat being unhealthy is quite frankly just a lie. Red meat and eggs are the most nutritious food sources we have on the planet.

That is the idea, you should be full (satiated!). If you are hungry all the time you are going to overeat. Carbs leave you hungry and you end up eating more, even though you have already consumed way more calories than you need. Meat and fat satiate you and you do not feel like eating more. So it is not a struggle to not over eat.

Same here in America. Food prices are crazy. Especially real food and not food like products that are all carbs and killing people over here.
