Wow. I first thought " How is that possible?" but maybe Canada uses American finger spelling?

@anne_twain In my experience, I've seen mostly ASL in many places, use the 1 handed manual alphabet. LSQ does as well but there may be variances in either languages RE: educational exposure, etc.

*signs WHAT?*

I've been warned that 2-hand fingerspelling can be misunderstood as word signing. But I don't know, I'm not Deaf and I've forgotten what little ASL 101 I picked up.

@claralistensprechen5th @anne_twain My Deaf teacher gave us various "warm up" exercises. When he saw that myself and several other students could do this, he encouraged it.

@claralistensprechen5th @anne_twain Additionally, there is a 2 handed system I've been exposed to, but it's the Deaf/Blind 2 handed system.

Ah, I see. So to speak.
It would be the sighted Deaf that would have that difficulty, methinks. Yes, ambidexterity is indeed to be encouraged, so, pleased to have met you. I am that myself, but when it comes to tools and fasteners. And basketball dribbling but haven't had the occasion to do much of that. It's mainly tools & fasteners.

@claralistensprechen5th Australian Sign Language, Auslan, uses 2 handed spelling, although one handed is fairly well known and has been used when devising Signed English.
