They also mentioned how similar this incident is to a previous one a decade ago that left 10 aid workers dead and caused significant political fallout at the time. For some reason Israel seems to think they can now do similar attacks with less cost now.

I knew the Freedom Flotilla was unable to begin a voyage in 2024 due to pressure from the Israeli government on Guinea-Bissau to withdraw the flags of two ships. A representative called this Bureaucratic Sabotage. But this applied to different vessels which remained in port.

in reply to Queer Like The Slur • •Greta said that the ship she was to be on was Palau flagged. She then got word that it had been de-flagged (de-registered, or flag got revoked) so she avoided getting on board. It was 7 hours after it was de-flagged that it was attacked.
