Andy Kessler, who I used to be friendly with but haven't spoken to in years, has written an almost incomprehensible piece for the WSJ on colleges running into trouble. Perhaps it's me, but the argument he makes is disjointed and confusing.

First, he suggests, the issue is "left-leaning professors"?

He does mention Trump, but not about driving away foreign students, but rather cutting how much universities can take from grants... which he even notes was struck down. There's a little throw in "research funds cut off." Maybe that should be explored more? No, must be left prof salaries! Hypocrites

I am not anti-AI though this article is really low quality. I mean they have no idea of what a decent GPU Rack costs. I have attached some images that should tell the story of just how far fetched this article is. You could not even get 4 commercial grade GPUs for that price let alone a decent rack. I am not saying that University tuition is fair or even a good value at this point. I am just saying their argument is horrible, they should do some research before writing articles like this.
