Giant box-o-patterns. Will see what I actually got. #sewing

Good. Joanne's going belly-up caused all the major pattern companies to fold.

Plastic wrapped. Paid $30 for this, because it had more than 3 patterns I wanted, and buying them individually off eBay would be $15 each. #sewing #patterns

Most of these... never going to use. I will probably distribute them in lots to folks here somehow. This pile here all women and children's. The interesting stuff to the left, will post those in a second. #patterns #sewing

Okay, here's the stuff I am keeping, LOL. Worth buying the pile, but it's just a small section... I am going to sew a more formal shirt. Thus the desire to acquire a pattern for said shirt. I could clone a shirt, but the usefulness of the pattern is it has steps to assembly, which for a newbie like myself is useful (to understand what gets sewed in what order and how it all connects together). #sewing

Inside sheep is stuffed with fiber fill, best kind for stuffing things is a polyester based stuffing. It doesn't turn into pebbles. And if you actually plan on making a sheep, 2 pairs of hemostats will be your best tools, one straight tip, one curved. Works great for turning and stuffing.

@ACNelson LOL not sure I'd ever MAKE a sheep, but it seemed amusing to keep, nonethless. I am sure an "outside sheep" or "inside sheep" would be eviscerated by the dog 🤪

This guy is the expert. David Page Coffin, the shirt making workshop. Your library might have it.

I wonder if a pattern section of a LFL would have any appeal 🤔

It probably depends on the pattern.

@piebob Unclear to me. It's pumpkins I think. Stickers? Cling window doohickies? There's also two black cats. I think Halloween themed?

@piebob I probably should try a pattern for a stuffed animal LOL. (instead of winging it). At some point... Now that I have a couple of choices for shirts, will do that next. Going to do a straight (white) shirt out of a sheet... just because. Actually need a white shirt here in reserve. Just tossed the ones I had, because I hadn't worn them in awhile and they were gross LOL. (of course, it would be cheaper and easier to just go BUY one, but you know, funner this way).
in reply to AI6YR Ben

i look forward to seeing the results! and yeah, it's just funner to make it yourself.

Until I took a closer look, I thought the red and orange was an evening gown.
