Great News ...
Well, my 14TB NAS HDD came in today ahead of schedule. Unfortunately it is defective and I had to get an RMA on it. 
I was actually surprised to get a response from them on a Sunday. I thought I would have to wait until tomorrow to get my RMA. Now I will have to wait for this drive to get back to CA before they ship the replacement to me. Thank goodness that USPS is so fast ... said no one ever.
In a few weeks when the replacement arrives I will be able to upgrade my NAS, until then it is back to waiting.
