This is an Appreciation of #Canada post because I just went digging into some saved stuff from eons ago and ran across a CBC personality I used to enjoy listening to regularly. I'm not talking about Ian McFarland, I'm talking about Terry O'Reilly--when I was tuning in, his show was called "Age of Persuasion". I do not like that he's on X, though. I just miss his old show, just like I miss #VinylCafe of the dearly departed Stuart McLean.
Of course the States have benefited from Canadian comedians more famous, But there's simply no substitution for the Royal Canadian Air Farce or Canadia 2056. None whatsoever.

There was an idea forwarded during Trump 1.0 that #DACA recipients seek refuge from #deportation on an Indian #reservation and seek their sovereign protection. While I don't blame any sovereign tribe for not wanting war with The Orange One, its' a good fight to have all the way up to the Supreme Court, methinks--especially CITIZENS who have been notified to leave the country might be wise to apply for #asylum on a reservation.
In a perfect world you can just leave services running indefinitely and all is well. We do not live in a perfect world. To be sure that no memory leaks grow (assuming their could be some) I have set the services to restart everyday between 5:45am - 6:00am UTC. This will equate to around the 2:45am - 3:00am EST. In any case this is a very slow period of time for the Instance which is why I chose this time frame. Now it takes seconds for any one of the services to reload and you will really not even notice if it happens while you are doing something on the Instance. The benefits should far outweigh any deficit experienced do to the restarts.
note: In regards to memory leaks it is really only php-fpm that would needs restarting. Though restarting mariadb, php-fpm and apache (in that order) will keep the whole system fresh. Besides I needed to be sure that apache will get restarted whenever my CA cert from EncryptIt gets renewed to be sure that the new cert will be used.

New Zealand's oldest surviving zoo was established in 1906 after a group of residents petitioned the Wellington City Council to establish a Zoo for the people of Wellington. Initially housed in the Wellington Botanical Gardens. The collection was moved to Newtown Park, the Zoo's present location, in 1907.
In 1956, as a part of the Zoo's 50th anniversary celebrations, three female chimpanzees arrived from London Zoo. This must have been the reason that they introduced tea parties with the chimps afterwards. Like in London zoo the tea parties were very popular with the public. The last tea party was in February 1970, four years after Koenraad Kuiper became Zoo director. After World War II Kuiper emigrated to New Zealand because he couldn't find a suitable job in the Netherlands. More remarkably, his father had been director of Rotterdam Zoo (Diergaarde Blijdorp) before and during the war. Kuiper senior had been a strong opponent of using zoo animals for entertainment of the public. This might have influenced the ideas of the son, and together with the new era of zoo development and husbandry this led to an end of the chimp tea parties. Today, Wellington Zoo's chimpanzees live in a large outdoor park and new indoor home, which was completed in 2007.
