Cacio e pepe: Good Food pasta recipe sparks fury in Italy


My inner Italian feels this pretty hard, but I have to say, this sounds a little self-diminishing...

Why you use Butter instead Olive oil and recipe was not right as it needs 3 things only , there was added for bigger result use some foamed milk..

It need 3 things, pasta, black pepper and Peccorino Romana.
That is it.

Personally, I feel they are overreacting. It is not really a big deal. And the person that said it was an Alfredo because they added butter and substituted Parmesan for Pecorino does not understand Alfredo at all. They have no leave for comment after a statement like that. Though being French I do understand why they get so upset. I just do not agree with it. 😉
