SERIFS
All I want is to use serif fonts. BUT NOOOOOO. It breaks this and other sites.
ANY SUGGESTIONS ON SERIF FONTS THAT DON'T SCREW UP "designer's choices?"
Pic very much related. One is "normal" the other is with a serif font style forced onto Friendica via "stylus". Because forcing it is the only way apparently.

You will find that there is a Help selection in the Main Context menu. It has a section that describes BBcode. This of course only effects posts. If you want to change the way the Friendica interface looks then you can look into Settings -> Display -> Themes and Settings -> Display -> Theme customization. There is no reason to try to force anything. Please just refer to the Help Menu.
If you find a Theme for Friendica that you like and I do not have it installed then let me know and I can install it for you. I have all the standard themes and an extra one called Bookface that I set as the default, though you can change that.

git.friendi.ca/friendica/theme…
I imagine it is probably out of date though.

I looked into it and installed some of those community themes. Unfortunately they are very old and unmaintained. They do not support a lot of the new interfaces on Friendica. It would take a major amount of work to get them up to date which is something I do not have time to do at the moment.
If you want to work on one and get it up to date I would be happy to install it. For right now I am concerned that if I install one it will confuse some of the members if they try to use them and it just makes a mess out of their interface that is not very usable.

If you are just looking for a few tweaks to Frio or Vier then you could follow the instructions on the Friendica Theme site to modify theme and I could add it as a scheme to them or revision.
It is a lot of work building and modifying themes and some people love it and spend a lot of time working on such. I spend more time on functionality and leave theme implementation to those UI/ UX so called experts in most cases 😉. I will eventually work on a theme for RogueProject though that is a very low priority with so many other more important things (such as debugging the friendica code base) to get done.
