Time for an update, things going well. Drew is sleeping very sound and no seizures or vomiting. I think he’ll stay 1-2 more days so the doctors see he is eating normally and having normal “outputs”.
At this point no idea yet on why he started vomiting to begin with. At this point best guess on the seizures is he had thrown up all his meds every dose time. So he was almost 24 hours with no anti-convulsants in him, the main meds!
Far more satisfied with ER, ward staff, and Hospitalist (who is in charge of all general treatment). So far they are in no hurry to kick him out and happy to keep him hydrated and eating well. Yay!
Photo I intended to share last February but forgot. This mural is in the main library open area inside the entrances. I could not believe it was okay’d and ok for such a public setting in very conservative Arizona! The spaceman floating is looking quite cute (settled on that term). I did have a flashback to Tim Curry in Rocky Horror Show.
