Speaking of which, I do believe that Joni Mitchell's "Big Yellow Taxi" was also a Checker Cab.

I marked the first square on the Bingo card "Run Away!" because of the deer, and wondered why the hell the chicken marker. Then I got to the part of the movie as to why. Morgan's buddy was henpecked.

You come and go
You ricochet et et et...

(MAN I can't believe they're charging over $100 for the classic board these days!
AND you can also play checkers, backgammon, and if you've got 64 coins, you could do a heads/tails version of Othello/Reversi.)

Not a whole lot of youse guys ever played Parcheesi, huh.
Well, the one thing Wikipedia can't tell you is how much fun it is to play.
The bigger question I have is whether or not Cribbage can be considered a board game just because you need a board to play it.

Have you seen their pearls and lace
Up and down the whole Park Place,
On its famous thoroughfare
With their noses in the air?

High hats and Arrow collars,
White spats and lots of dollars,
Spending every dime,
For a wonderful time.

If you're blue and you don't know where to go to
Why don't you go where fashion sits, Puttin' on the Ritz.

Oh, when the sun beats down and burns the tar up on the roof
And your shoes get so hot you wish your tired feet were fire proof
In Hotel Boardwalk, down by the sea, yeah
On a blanket with my baby is where I'll be...

My knitting has been basic utility, so hands down the best knitting project I've finished was that Emotional Support Chicken!

The Puteketeke has been abandoned by #JohnOliver for a new obsession in the form of a German loaf of bread. This time Oliver's appeal falls on my deaf ears.

I'm pretty sure nobody saw Batman's Joker coming, as in the night of his ex girlfriend. Or because she's also noxious.

Seriously, folks. What's to be made of someone who wants to make an argument but insists on making said argument in his personal echo chamber rubber room? What does this imply when his pet target is a participant in #Monsterdon ? @Taweret

Does anyone else out in the Fediverse block a person first and then makes his case? Kinda bass-ackwards, ain't it?
Somebody's pet religion just got hurted, by the looks of it.

Starting to have buffering issues with Miru but they're nowhere near as bad as Archive. Had to get another bingo card, the window got inadvertently closed.

Alrighty! Tried Internet Archive again, still had buffering issues, so @miru it is and I've got my bingo card at the ready, with thanks to @Cherizilla for that!

You could actually take the 60 Minutes investigative format of yore and stick it in the face of General Motors even if you're some joe from Flint, Michigan.

@Unus Nemo
That. Is. A. Fact. I forgot to mention IRCs, but I'm also sure that big news names don't recognize BBS activity anymore than they recognize the Fediverse as "social media". CompuServe was in fact centralized and a precursor to MySpace and all centralized social media that came afterward.

I hasten to add that BOY am I glad you commented on my thread because Rogue's still insists that I have you blocked when I don't, so it also prohibits me sending you PMs, tagging you, or read what you post. I've looked high and low for settings or whatever it is that I could do at my end to fix that and I can't find anything. If you would please fix that administratively, that would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think that's accurate, actually. The crowd chanting "eat the rich" often cite the French Revolution and it's favorite execution implement.

@Jack
Oh wait, hobbits never had house elves.
Perhaps Tolkien's elves didn't adapt to houses until AFTER "the time of the elves". NM. Everybody either lived in some castle or some mountain while humans lived in huts.

Here's a reminder that 'way back in the day, Magnus, Robot Fighter might have been intended to have worn a tunic, but when that tunic was...shall we say, cochineal? ...he looked like he was in a hot pink miniskirt.

Manly men can wear hot pink miniskirts.
