@50+ Music
Since I've always associated that with the Marcels and Sha Na Na, I had no inkling this was a Rogers/Hart job. TIL.

Once they discovered that they worked well together and were smarter than their average species members, they decided that they themselves were the team of superheroes that could save the world, but they didn't need any Fortress of Solitude.

Well that was an eye-opener.
Theoretically, Friendica federates with Diaspora but when I shared a Diaspora post on My Portal, it did NOT show up in the Rogue's Project feed and they're both Friendica.
It was a post by Kuram Wadee which boosted Dianea's Diaspora post, which contained this image:

Ah. Blown to Krell and back. The End.
...and then I found out that an infamous Governor of Alabama was playing a bit part in that movie. Well, I did know that he was listed as cast member when I went looking for Earl Holliman, but DAMN I sure didn't recognize him...but then again, my memory of him was of a fat bigoted bastard. You got to see him in the opening minutes of the movie, getting talked to by Nielson. Fancy that.

I didn't know that.
And I don't have only one favorite, either.

I want to see the manager's supervisor about this firm's misleading implied advertising. Any reasonable person entering into a contract with Monkey Business Inc. shouldn't be served up lemurs. They're primates, but they are NOT monkeys!

At long last we find out what Craig Ferguson's horse Secretariat has been doing with himself. He's talented that way.

@Tom Grzybow Their overpriced burgers did 'em in. There's a Five Guys in Enid, opened not long ago, but the same could be said of Schlotzky's but it'd dead in Enid. I expect Five Guys isn't far behind. The price of beef these days is through the roof so expect more burger joints to go under, and along this line is a marketing gimmick called "smashburger". Like sliders, it's an attempt to charge you more for less meat, but I don't think that's gonna be the salvation of the industry.

There's a burger joint that has been in business since the end of WWII in #EnergyIL and its burgers contain no beef--however, instead of expanding, it guards its recipe like it was Fort Knox and won't even license people to make it. #NeslersPolarWhip owes it to humanity at this time, seems to me. I've eaten there several times and can personally attest to the fact that theirs is a very good burger. Their maintained sales over the decades will back me up on that.

The film and play "Chicago" was a story about Moxie Hart.

Yeah, I know it was brought back from the dead. So it's a zombie already.

Herman Muntz was head of the Muntzter family.
The ad in the attached image is NOT of Mr. Muntz even IRL. That's an image of Bob Hope's side-kick, Jerry Colonna.

@Bytes Europe
That reminds me--I've pretty much blocked every disinfomationist I've encountered in the Fediverse, so I haven't had an excuse to use my Didieload Award trophy. I'm going to have to go looking for opportunities I guess, but that means it'll get "scraped" by AI bots & shit. Well, you saw it here first and if you see somebody else with it, there'll be no doubt about where it came from.

For those of you who might still not spot the treed boat in the opening sequence of #Flow , I've got it pointed out for you here:
#flow

I thought that #HBO was done re-running #Flow but I was proven wrong today. And yes, I watched it yet again. That's because each of the times I've watched it before, I've noticed things I didn't catch in the previous viewings, and such was the case today.

At the very opening, if you pay attention to the background environment, immediately after the title goes by, you can spot a boat in a tree already, suggesting that the area had been flooded before and, further, human beings likely left the area because of having been warned before. This gave a new interpretation of all the moss-covered cat statues, too. They've been wet before, obviously, but maybe for a different reason than usually presumed.

This sort of attention to environment detail and not so much to the main characters goes a long way to explain why this roughly hour of movie took 5 years to make

Yeah, I think it's worthwhile to recirculate old #Trump memes. They still apply today.
